This mountain elopement session was the session of my dreams.

Dana + Josh have been married for 9 years! However, they didn’t exactly have the wedding photos to show for it. Dana approached me with the idea of doing this bridal session in the mountains and I swear my heart skipped a beat! My immediate reaction was HECK YES!

We had the session planned for months. The day comes and of courseeeee storms are predicted for that evening. With military life, re-scheduling wasn’t exactly an option. But God is faithful ya’ll!!! Not only did the storms stay away from us, but they also gifted us with the most magical rainbow background!

So at the beginning of our session we had a rainbow which symbolizes God’s faithfulness and His promise to us. Then half-way through our session a ladybug landed on Dana as I was doing portraits of her. A ladybug symbolizes good luck! ALSO I should mention that as soon as we finished shooting and left from our last location.. boy did it POUR THE RAIN! I’m talking that summer time, bucket dump, can’t see to drive type of rain! Call me crazy, a hopeless romantic, whatever… but I so believe in soulmates and signs from the universe! This session contained alllllll of those!
